Intensify Your Next Workout with Burpees

Burpees are a great way to condition yourself for hockey and they are a favorite of mine for several reasons. First, I’ve never really been a fan of lifting weights. Why? They’re heavy! Really, that’s the best I got, although I won’t deny the effectiveness of pumping iron. Next, I don’t want to spend money on a gym membership and/or a fancy piece of exercise equipment. Finally, when I do workout, I want to make it worth my while.  Burpees are a great no-nonsense exercise that require nothing more than motivation. If you want to get your chest heaving and heart pumping, look no further. Like anything else fitness related, it is important to stretch out first and make sure your technique is accurate.
