Four years ago, USA Hockey created Hockey Weekend Across America, a three-day event aimed at exposing the sport to new audiences. This year’s celebration will take place on Feb 18-20. Each day will have a theme as follows:
- Friday, Feb. 18th: Wear your favorite hockey jersey
- Saturday, Feb. 19th: Bring a friend to the rink
- Sunday, Feb 20th: Support local hockey heroes
This is a great way to encourage hockey players like you and me to invite others to give the game a try. If you have been following our blog, you know our main objective is to make hockey more affordable and accessible. We fully support this program and hope you choose to participate!
